• Can we purchase drugs from you?

  Reproduction Drugs can be purchased through us for existing clients and after consultation with one of our vets.

• Where do I deliver the cattle to?

  Deliveries and pickups of all cattle into the centre need to be booked in via the office/centre manager.

• Where do I deliver the semen and/or embryos to?

  Deliveries and pickups of all cattle into the centre need to be booked in via the office/centre manager.

Semen collection/bull testing

• What age does a bull have to be to collect?

  Depending on breed and sexual maturity. General rule would be 19-20 months Bos Taurus, 22-24 months Bos Indicus. Please contact us to discuss further.

• Where do I deliver the cattle to?

• Does it matter if my bull has been in with my cows?

  If a bull has been serving cows within the last 7 days the quantity of a collection can be reduced, therefore the number of straws per collection can be reduced.

Embryo Transfer

• Can my donor be AI'd after she has been flushed, before she comes home?

  We recommend the donor have 1 estrus cycle without being mated after flushing, to reduce the chance of twin pregnancies. Most donors can be joined 3-4 weeks after the last flush date.

• What should I be feeding my donors before they arrive?

  Ideally donors need to be in forward condition and maintaining or gaining weight. BCS of 3.5/5 is ideal. Mineral supplements are advised if in a known mineral deficient areas.

• Does it matter if my bull has been in with my cows?
