Ced Wise AB Services is a professional family-based team with extensive reproduction skills and a strong involvement within the reproduction and cattle industry.

We offer a wide range of high-end bovine reproduction services including donor flushing, embryo transfer, artificial insemination, semen collection, morphology and bull testing. We are able to provide our services across the nation with our custom-built mobile laboratories or at our reproduction centre located in Glen Aplin Qld. Our aim is to provide a complete service by closely collaborating with our clients to meet desired outcomes to help progress their herd and profitability.

Our Team

Ced Wise

Veterinarian BVSc, MSc, Dip.ACT., MACVSc

Ced graduated as a veterinarian (BVSc.) from the University of Queensland in 1976. He spent the first three years following graduation in a mixed practice in Warwick, Queensland. Following this, Ced moved to the United States and spent four years doing post graduate work in Food Animal Medicine, Embryo Transfer and Semen Collection at Colorado University, where he received a Master of Sciences (MSc.) and sat the board exams to gain a Diploma from the American College of Theriogenology (Dip.ACT.).

On returning to Australia, Ced also sat the College exams to become a Member of the Australian College of Veterinary Science in Reproduction (MACVSc.).

Since entering private practice in 1984, Ced's career has been devoted entirely to artificial reproduction technologies in cattle. This work has seen him travel throughout Australia and overseas to New Zealand, Vanuatu, New Caledonia and Indonesia. Ced is currently a member of the Australian Veterinarian Association (AVA), Australian Cattle Veterinarians Association (ACVA), Australian Reproductive Veterinarians (ARV), American College of Theriogenology (ACT), Society for Theriogenology (SRT), and the International Embryo Transfer Society (IETS).

Adam Wise

Veterinarian BVSc, BAPSc (Production Animal)

After graduating with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree (Production Animals), he completed his Veterinary Science degree at James Cook University in 2012. Adam then spent four years in an intensive dairy practice in Cobden, Victoria before coming home to join the Ced Wise Artificial Breeding Services team in 2016.

Rowena Wise

Veterinarian Assistant & Compliance Officer

Through-out her life, Rowena has been involved in the cattle and equine industries within Australia and the United States. Travelling and working alongside Ced, Rowena assists in many aspects of the business. As the Compliance Officer, Rowena prepares the documentation associated with the export of semen and embryos.
